Zhaopin Recruitment released the "Zhilian Recruitment 2018 Spring White-collar Job-hopping Index Research Report" on the 16th. The survey results show that nearly 70% of white-collar workers are in action for job-hopping, which is down from 80% in 2017, but still maintains a high level.

These two industry attributes determine the greater mobility of employees, and the more active job-hopping of practitioners. However, government/non-profit organizations and cultural, sports and education industries are less willing to change jobs, and the team is more stable.


The report pointed out that when they switched jobs this year, 33.2% of white-collar workers chose new first-tier cities, surpassing 32.7% in traditional first-tier cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen) for the first time, becoming the most preferred type of city for white-collar workers.


There are 15 "new first-tier cities" mentioned in the report, including Chengdu, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing, Nanjing, Tianjin, Suzhou, Xi'an, Changsha, Shenyang, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Dalian, Dongguan, and Ningbo.


White-collar workers in the Internet, legal affairs, cultural media/entertainment, finance and other industries are more inclined to the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Resources and related positions in these industries are more concentrated in these four cities. White-collar workers in real estate, trade, automobile production and processing industries are more inclined to the new first-tier cities.

"Traditional first-tier cities such as high housing prices and difficult settlements continue to emerge. Talents and opportunities are also saturated. Young people are chasing hope. The rise of the'new frontline' also allows job seekers to see a new track." The report analysis said.


In addition, in terms of the frequency of job hopping, 19.1% of white-collar workers said that they would hop once within one year on average; 34.8% of white-collar workers said that they would hop once within 1-3 years, that is, 53.9% of white-collar workers had less than three years. Need to quit once.


The survey shows that the main reasons for white-collar job hopping are salary and prospects. 55.8% of white-collar workers expressed dissatisfaction with the current salary. In addition, the three factors of uncertain corporate development prospects, limited promotion and benefits also constitute the main reasons for white-collar workers to quit.
